I am aware of that. Germany and Japan were allies with each other. While we sold weapons to the UK, we also sold manufactured goods to Germany. The Brits were pretty perturbed to find "Made in USA" stamped on various parts of the German fighters they shot down.

Actually, it was 12/11 when Germany declared war on us. And then we declared war on Germany and Italy.

Still, we did not declare war on Germany in support of our allies in Europe.
