Ted, from the article: In a typical February, Seattle would get more than 4 inches of rainfall. So far, there has been less than an inch, a continuation of a drier-than-usual January. Cute factoid to dress up a story on global warming. Meanwhile, Southern California is being drenched with the 3rd wettest winter in recorded history (or something like that). One theory is that SoCal is literally getting the rain that the Pacific NW ought to be getting. Is that caused by global warming? Maybe a "Day After Tomorrow" kind of effect? Perhaps, but around here, the globe sure doesn't feel any warmer ... Tenchusatsu
