Ouch! ... remember I've posted a few times I sold 90% of my trusts at one point last spring ... well there was lots of smoke about this then ... it didn't happen then and I missed a lot of run.. but looks like maybe now they are serious ? Man lots of Canucks may be pi$$ed too if unit prices drop, especially since many are playing the cap gains game with these now... OTOH knocks Acclaim's yield from 12.5 to 10.6 ... still healthy though ... how hungry are US investors for yield ? Is that a disaster ? I dunno... I cannot see selling in my case... if reaction is negative... I buy more and my yield rises :o) Actually maybe US side may buy more too then... Not an easy call when you think about it.. I guess we find out how much air is in the bubble soon.. :O) Pengroth has a dual share structure because of the US ownership issue.. I dunno the exact mechanics but it appears the US aimed ones had a lower yield already ... Well I have some cash... Jay has a lot of VET.UN ... is he paying witholding already ? if so then that is a decent barometer no ...? of where this will come out after some bumps... Gotta get the kiddies to school.. K.
