<<The worst thing is stop the tasrs as i believe they save injuries to police and those they are trying to arrest. A good example of a tasr opportunity was the picture on the news in Japan? of cops running from a nut with a baseball bat. If they had a tasr they could have shot him , without it they ran.

I think the consensus opinion is that TASR is a good WEAPON and should NOT be tossed into the waste bin.....They ARE better then guns and they ARE useful in certain arenas....my whole point are the problems surrounding TASR, mainly because they continue to push this as a NON LETHAL weapon. No, do NOT get rid of TASR's...DEclare them as LETHAL and REGULATE them, and then I think TASR becomes a good investement, assuming the big gun makers dont become competitors...if I was TASR and NEW somebody like smith and wesson was getting involved, I would be very concerned....as far as the woman running away....why can't tha cops use those shoting nests they have...they work for a very good distance, obviously they are not harmful unless somebody falls and hits their head or something, and as long as the person is not armed with a GUN, the shooting net is an excellent way to subdue anybody...I have seen it used...I have seen a 300lb guy get taken down and wrapped and tangled up so bad, he couldn't fight back, resist or anything..the more he tried to fight and get untangled, the more tangled he got.....now that is a non leathal restraint device I would like to see used more......
