It is too bad that in some regions of SI snobs have taken over threads that were once places where freedom of thought was exchanged in lively discussion. There was once a very bigoted ‘good ole boy’ system in America which was thankfully dismantled over recent decades. Yes, we can still find examples of vestigial remnant good ole boys but for the most part the system itself, no longer functions. Sadly in some places an equally ‘good new girl’ system has risen striving to replace it and actually exist in its likeness. The is no essential difference between the two. Each was self selecting and has a genocidal death warrant attitude toward anyone not of its likeness. For example: ”Ionesco: (ban them all) “Some will say the thread will be "boring" without the banees. Boring beats ugly hands down Grainne.” and grainne: (like me like me like me) "Feelies is a thread where politics are discussed sometimes, but it is not a political argument thread as such. It is an extremely general thread where I want women (ladies, not slug-a-fest women) to feel comfortable."
