Amy J,

if media all over the world reported more information on other countries on a regular basis, the need to go to war would decrease in the first place.

I don't know there were many instances of 2 democratic countries (countries where government needs to react and account to the the will of it's citizenry). The conflicts tended to be dictatorships fighting each other or democratic countries fighting dictatorships.

Since there is no free media in dictatorships, they would be at a great advantage as far as maintaining national morale to win the war. Do you think it would be a good idea to give dictators of the world this advantage?

Joe
