You are still not getting it. The money you paid over your entire lifetime is gone. It went to pay the retirees at the time. It is becoming humorous just watching this. My guess is that the money would not be counted in the federal budget. Your guess is correct. Greenspan spoke so clearly on this subject a couple weeks ago. I wish all these people could have heard him.
