You sound like a traditional Republican. i mean it as a compliment.

Is it reasonable then that you would support a system that phased out the Ponzi scheme and phased in an actual trust fund account with actual performing assets? While you may not like the borrowing aspect of the President's plan, it is closer to what you seem to desire than anything proposed by the Democrats. Democrats seem bent on obstructing changes that would benefit the middle class.

IMO Democrats are the party of the very wealthy and the poor. IMO Republicans are the part of the middle class. You might consider which party gives you a better hope for a prosperous future.
