I can feel compassion for all kinds of people........even for those who have been mislead but are our enemy. Look at many of the dead insurgents in Iraq.....they are teenagers wearing nikes, a tee and jeans while carrying an uzi.
They try to kill Americans whether they were "mislead" or out of their own initiatives, and it is much safer when they are dead. Especially for US soldiers. You are free to feel compassion for them.
No armor, no helmet, no tank to cover, no nada.
Poor kids. Such an unfortunate outcome. If they had some armor, maybe the outcome would not be as sad for you. Maybe they could be still alive, and maybe they could kill more Americans, Iraqi doctors, teachers, election volunteers, policemen.

It seems to me that the message of Bin Laden was like the bargain given to Spaniards: You vote with terrorists, by voting for Kerry / Zapatero, you will be spared (for the time being).
I know truth hurts. It explains the outbursts of irrationality and anger on your side. It seems that so often, the choice is between Bush and terrorists, and you guys hate Bush so much that end up on the side of terrorists.
