Cheryl, I want to commend you for starting this important Thread. I share your concerns about the very serious nature of the threat to our country around this issue. One of the things that scares me the most is that when I try to talk to intelligent people normally in the know I find I get a big yawn about the seriousness of the issue.I am abolutely convinced we will get a major recession somewhere along the way between now and 2000.This may well be the minor part of the eventual problems.Have you tried to get in touch with Dick Armey?
