I remain mildly irked that "Support Our Troops" magnets and American flag magnets are not being sold by organizations which are donating the profits to the actual troops. Hellooooo?

But I finally bought a yellow "Support Our Troops" magnet from the cute little kiosk in the local Post Office that sells mailing paraphernalia and commemorative stamps when I bought packages of Reagan stamps for everyone in the house.

Then I tried to put it on the car. Wouldn't stick. The car needs a wash, it's got salt from the roads, but no point washing since it will just get salty again. Should I rinse off the salt? Is that why it won't stick?

Then Nick pointed out that, being a Land Rover, the body is made of aluminum. Doh!
