Do the journalists themselves define what is a journalist, and who should be candidates for press passes to White House press conferences? Is a columnist a journalist? Is a member of any news organization a journalist? Are TV news compilers journalists? Are bloggers journalists? Seems to me that their Association had better get their own house in order. The vocal left is going nuts about a Republican gay man who was working for Talon news. Would these same vocal left folks go as equally batty if a LeftWing gay man working for PoDunk news did the same thing? And what is their LeftWing point about the man being gay?
