It's greed propelled self-destruction. American greed is destroying our middle class - we worship the market here. Workers aren't citizens, they're just assets that have a cost. The Chinese worker is a tremendous cost saving to the corporation. The Indian programmer is hungrier that his American counterpart and 4 times cheaper. Now, biotech is joining the outsourcing parade. It may be a global good, but it's going to be a nightmare for America - living through a time when you can expect less in the future. The ironic end is when the very executives hollowing out America have their own jobs outsourced. Why pay for these fat, overcompensated Americans when you can have a Chinese executive do a better job for less money?
