Conflict is inevitable in the human condition. The definition of politics?...more than one person in a room.

What separates us from lower animals of the planet is that we can reason and come to agreement and compromise. The constitution is a masterful work of art...the art of compromise.

But what I fear is that we slip down the evolutionary scale every time we choose war when more humane...or should I say more godly options are still at hand.

That is what troubles me about this administration. They see war as the best solution to conflict. There appear to be huge gaps in the intelligence that was used to justify the war...and worse the linkage of 9-11 to Iraq seems to have been orchestrated at the highest levels.

Conflict...it's part of life. Learning how to resolve it and to compromise is part of getting closer to god.
