I've worked with people in China. They are diligent, but the language barrier is significant. AND, they just don't get why we do some things in certain ways. Production is what matters to them - volume. The main concern, in my own experience, was production numbers. They were not inclined to keep configuration control as a top priority and in our business that is a big problem. IF they adopt the culture I was charged with providing to them, THEN we are doomed. They are hungrier than we are. You can fall a long way in China and that makes success the only option.
