My point has to do a lot more with selective enforcement of laws rather than being anti police. Take a look at the zillions of laws on the books. You would think they would all get enforced equally, but they do not. However that being said, the police have a saying that everybody comes home alive every night. Police also will not respond to gunfire in a bad part of town in many cities unless its automatic weapon fire. Police don't have a duty to respond. The courts have said so. The Police only have a general duty to defend the public at large. Waaaaay too big a job. Much of the heavy lifting should be in the hand of individual citizens who don't cost the taxpayer a dime. I like the CCW laws a lot. I hate the victim disarmament laws tremendously.
