What is incomprehensible to me, karen, is that Uncle Sam gets 150,000 or so men and women over to an area in the ME, along with their housing, clothing, food, water, places and means and personnel to cook the meals, basic equipment, major equipment (cranes, tanks, missiles, cement, cut wood, tiltups for buildings for Iraqis as well as our people), medical supplies large and small including diagnostic equipment, Humvees, cars, trucks, and a million more etcs like ammo and weapons.....

All these things are delivered to an area the size of California. Sometimes inbetween incoming rockets or all sorts of other unpleasant things....

If our guys and gals request some items that were missed, or that they might have to pay for themselves, well then, some of us are more than willing to help facilitate their requests.

Gold Bond Medicated Anti-Itch Powder, Viscine, extra batteries, phone cards, candies, etc seem like little enough for us to help with.

As they say, Freedom Isn't Free.

<<<Gold Bond Medicated Anti-Itch Powder leads the list<<<

Yes, I've read that there are requests for little things. It is incomprehensible to me that Uncle Sam doesn't provide them. If we are to send them anything, it should be special treats, not the basics.
