1. Quit trying to guess week-by-week, month-by-month, and maybe even year-by-year.
2. Put 50% of all capital in PCRDX. It's even mentioned by Jim Rogers in his book on commodities. It's about 30% in energy, using the DJ-AIG commodities index.
3. Put 30% of all capital in OST.UN, Oil Sands Split Trust.
4. Put the rest of your money in EN, Energy Split II.
Throw your computer away, don't read the newspapers, spend your income checks, and come back in five years.
Also, lose ten pounds, walk five miles a day, drink only one glass of wine a day, and study German irregular verbs. |
