I wonder if the representative mentioned is poor Count Bernodotte, the UN representative who was assasinated by Israelis in uniform.

It's interesting. The early almanacs said that Bernodotte was killed by Israelis. After 1970 the Readers Digest Almanac changed its writing to that he was killed. Good rewriting of history.
