It sure keeps your floors clean that a way! When neighborhood kids come over for the first time, most of them take off their shoes before coming in. I always ask if this is something they do at home and if not, don't bother doing it here! With two dogs, both 100 lbs each, a teenager, a pre-teen and a husband that thinks nothing of walking around the house in his golf shoes and various and sundry neighborhood kids coming and going, my floors take a beating!
