It is weirdly personal: Iraq must fail. It is in fact the press that failed, on a scale for which I cannot think of a precedent.

I can. Did he listen to the BBC coverage of the Iraq war? They were deep into quagmire city when Baghdad fell. Never heard a major news organization backpedal so fast.
