I knew what "au contraire" meant. Thank you very much.

I have been interested in, and learning words, since I was knee high to a grasshopper, but just don't make a point of using them in ordinary conversation.

Besides, talking like a plain ole country boy from Texas, usually puts others off their guard, and you can whizz things right over their heads.
