Its why Assad just handed over Saddam's half brother. He's trying to buy time.

So you are finally admitting that Syria has been aiding and abetting the insurgency.

I am not admitting anything. Sharon and Bush have said that Syria is aiding and abetting the insurgency. You are choosing to believe them. I am not.........I am waiting to see what else unfolds.

The very fact that Syria was giving sanctuary to Saddam's half-brother makes them a legitimate target of our war on terror.

Saddam's brother was caught near the Syria/Iraqi border. Where does it say that Syria was giving him sanctuary?

Don't you get it? These despots in the Middle East only respond to hardball. They don't quit terrorizing people just because you say pretty please with sugar on top.

Its you who doesn't get it. They are doing things to appease Bush and get the heat off their backs.....for now. Its like Putin was last week. During the press conference, Putin did not object to Bush's putting him down. However, what happened when he got back to Russia.............the contract with Iran was signed? It should speak volumes to you but you CHOOSE to ignore it.

As for Syria, they know that the US and Israel are staging events to make them look bad. Yesterday, there was an explosion in Tel Aviv and it was Hezbollah that was accused, not Hamas or the other Palestinian terrorist group. A year ago when there was an explosion in Tel Aviv, Hezbollah was never mentioned. The events of the past few weeks feel very manufactured and have the stamp of Mossad all over them.

No one mentions that Bashar Assad was not his father....that he was educated in the West and was expected to implement serious democratic reform in Syria when he took over. Of course, that's all lost now that Bush has made Bashar one of the bad guys.

But you guys just think its a miracle............the wind of change is happening thanks to Bush. The entire ME is about to become the latest additions to the democratic camp as the rightie fable goes. And everyone will live happily ever after.

You are being snookered.........and its getting tiring seeing how easy it was for that to happen.
