Saddam's brother was caught near the Syria/Iraqi border. Where does it say that Syria was giving him sanctuary?

You said it. You said that Assad had handed Saddam's half brother over. So if Assad had handed him over, that means they were giving him sanctuary. Good Lord, you are now contradicting yourself.

LOL. Nice try! They captured him and turned him over to the Iraqis. No where in the article I posted did they say they offered him sanctuary.

Are you making things up as you go along?

As far as Bashar being Western educated, that's true. But his attempts at Democratic reform were abortive. He didn't accomplish anything except an alliance with Saddam. Then he allied himself with the Iraqi insurgents.

He did? Who told you? Those claims have been disputed for months now.

Now he's allying himself with Iran.

Iran and Syria always have been allied against Israel

You think he's a good guy? I have a bridge to sell you.

Why would I think Bashar is a good guy? To my knowledge, he has done nothing good so far. Essentially, I trust no one in the ME.

Tell me. Do you believe that if Bush keeps playing hardball, Bashar will agree to free elections.......truly free elections? Is that what you think is the outcome of this hardball action?
