Corded phones are great in emergencies - if you have one of the older ones, they work even when the power goes out. And 9/11 showed me the hazards of cell phones in a disaster. The circuits overload at 5 p.m. on a daily basis, they can't handle a real crisis.

If you like luxury soaps, they mostly come in bars. The liquid stuff isn't really soap, it's detergent. Different chemistry.
