Yeah, come to think of it, I was doing that in my IB account only. (MSFT).
Not sure how well it would go with Scottrade.
IB was actually a little cheaper per trade.
Scottrade has occasionally given me better than ask on stocks (not options).
Do you ever do market orders? I never do and I rarely even place GTC--but if I do, its a limit order for something I want to pick up cheaper.
