You do make friendships that will last a lifetime...It is such a traumatic time of your life, I guess it is hard not to bond. You're on your own for the first time, the professors pile it on and I always thought more so your Freshman year. Big time football and other sports...exposure to famous artists..and authors..a learning experience. Then there are sororities and fraternities..a whole new world..Oh boy is it ever.
