Glad CLint did well tonight!!! A few years ago my husband was in a local bar and restaurant having a few drinks. The door opened , in walked Clint Eastwood and he sat down on a bar stool right next to my husband. Clint was then the Mayor of Carmel and he was meeting some local politicians in a private room in the back of the restaurant. My husband, feeling no pain at that point, said, " Holy sh^t, it's dirty Harry." Clint turned around to face him and said, " Go ahead., make my day." The entire place erupted into hysterics ( My husband is well known and is quite cantankerous at times!) My husband met Clint many years ago before he was a big star. My husband's brother was getting married so they took him to Carmel for the bachelor's party before the shotgun wedding ( his fiance already had one in the oven ). They were at the Mission Inn bar before Clint owned it. Clint was there having a drink so he joined the party as he felt for my husband's brother. Clint bought them all a shot of Tequila........my husband's brother was lucky to keep upright during the ceremony! True story!!! CLint told my husband he remembered it when they sat together in the local restaurant............he probably didn't, but he was nice enough to lie. Clint's a class act.
