However, if my children and I are watching the Superbowl, the last thing we expect is to see someone bare their top.
No kidding, and that's why she and CBS got punished. The USA doesn't allow nudity on family programming on TV, which makes complete sense.
I'm not advocating censorship, but there has to be a time and a place for porn. I would argue strenuously that this place is not on primetime Superbowl.
Again, who are you debating with? Did someone come in and say "there must be porn on the Super Bowl"? I didn't read that post. You are tending to just set up a straw man position, and tear it down, but not reading what other people are actually posting.
No one has demanded porn on the Super Bowl halftime show.
Some other examples of how you seem to project your own preconceived notions in between what others are actually posting.
The very fact that Syria was giving sanctuary to Saddam's half-brother makes them a legitimate target of our war on terror.
Ted didn't claim Syria was giving Saddam's half brother sanctuary.
You insult our intelligence with your mistaken belief that we can sit back in the U.S. and do nothing, and the terrorists in the Middle East will leave us alone.
Ted has never said the US "should sit back and do nothing".
So you may be worried that our country is no longer tolerating immorality, because you miss it.
Ted never said he misses immorality.
You know, when you post your own view, it's fine. But when you post your understanding of what other posters are thinking, you show a tremendous lack of perception, and big tendency to get it completely wrong. |
