The USA, because of its geography can protect itself from this massive migration.
We need to stop ALL immigration until smoke (think 9/11) clears.

Chances are slim since the Bush administration is very pro immigration.

I disagree. W has cut legal immigration.

We have been admitting no more than 50-<75 thousand refugees annually since W became president. That is far fewer than any of Clinton's years (at least 50,000 per year less).
Our current percent of foreign born is approx 13.5%, same as 100 years ago.

The real problem with Muslim refugees (as seen in Europe) is they don't assimilate into the host culture. They instead want to retain their lifestyle and impose it on their host country citizens.
