IMO christians have learned to live and obey the laws of whatever country they live in...christianity is not a culture.

You know that evil knows no bounds of religion. What about the BTK killer:

The BTK killer re-emerged over the last year, taunting police with letters and packages sent to media outlets.

Rader, a married father of two, a Cub Scout leader and an active member of a Lutheran church, was anything but a recluse.

His job as a city code enforcement supervisor required daily contact with the public, and he even appeared on television in 2001 in his tan city uniform for a story on vicious dogs running loose in Park City.

Before becoming a municipal employee, Rader worked for a home-security company, where he held several positions that allowed him access to customers' homes, including a role as installation manager. He worked for ADT Security Systems from 1974 to 1989 - the same time as a majority of the BTK killings.

What about David Koresh in Waco. And Jim Jones who led his people to death in Guyana? They were all Christians.

Evil lurks everywhere. In Muslims and Christians.

But fear not because goodness is everywhere too, in Christians and Muslims.

OBL did evil. But then is evil thwarted by doing more evil? How many innocents have been killed in the response to the terrorist attacks? And where were those people killed? And did they even know of OBL and his plans? The answer is very largely no. And so a cycle of evil is wrought. With the sons of the slain living on to someday bring a bomb to you.

What can break the cycle of hatred? Only love and understanding can do that. A word called forgiveness comes to mind. These are the Christian and Moslem values that can save the world. Revenge is the beginning of the end.
