"Does the fact that they have them make it good idea for Iran to have them too?"

It's a lousy idea for any country, including ours, to have nuclear weapons of any kind. Considering how much our government has changed in a scant 4 years, we never know when we'll be out using them all over the place.

One of Bush's pet projects are 'tactical nuclear weapons'. Another one is SDI. One of the Neocon's pet projects is the militarization of space which, as far as I can tell, is SDI on steroids. We're just bristling with new and improved hardware that no one has any control over. How long before it proliferates?

Pakistan, an iffy military dictatorship, is supposedly our good buddy (remember Afghanistan and the Soviets?) but it is also one of the worst sieves for nuclear proliferation ever. Heck, there were people out selling nuclear goods at trade shows.

It's a total myth that any person, organization or government can keep hold of this technology. The only option is to stop developing it and destroy what we already have.

Will it happen? Nope, we're too stupid for that.
