There are likely many different opinions but mine is that the great majority of these people were taught from birth to hate and to live by the rules of radical islam. I contend that a child will grow to believe what they have been taught by parents, religious leaders political leaders etc.

When a young Arab boy or girl strap a bomb on themselves and go out and murder in the name of their god in the stupid belief that their god will reward them for murdering innocent people it is IMO because they simply are doing what they believe to be the right thing. I do not believe it has anything to do with poverty...the 9/11 islam killers were educated well to do people. They do evil because they have been taught to do so by the religion they were unfortunate enough to be born into.

Some of these killers are IMO could be weak minded adults such as that fool shoe bomber Reid.

I agree with much of what you say but I don't think the west or any other culture is responsible in any way for what islam teaches. If our way of life had any effect on what they believe they would not likely be strapping bombs on their kids and sending them out to murder others and cutting the heads off innocent people for publicity and free terror advertizing to the rest of the world. IMO if our culture had any effect on the islam religion I think they would have moved into the modern world just as many other religions have done to fit in. Islam and only islam is to blame for what they have spawned.
