Bin Laden Urges AlZarqawi To Attack Inside US Fox News
NEW YORK (Dow Jones)Osama bin Laden has recently been in touch with Abu Musab alZarqawi and has
urged the leader of the alQaida affiliate in Iraq to shift his focus from attacking U.S. troops in Iraq to attacks within
the U.S. itself, Fox News reported Monday.
Citing "multiple U.S. officials from across the administration," Fox News said that bin Laden in a new message to
the Jordanianborn alZarqawi urges him to begin attacks inside the U.S.
However, no specific targets, such as cities or buildings, were mentioned, Fox News reported. Although U.S.
officials question alZarqawi's ability to carry out attacks inside the U.S., they are taking the communication between
bin Laden and alZarqawi seriously, the report also said.
