even if the 'Kyoto cure' does not stop global warming, it will benefit the entire world in other ways.....particularly when it comes to health issues. A poorer world (at least poorer than it would have been) isn't very good for people's health, and in certain ways it will be bad for the environment as well. The Seattle area is one of the most environmentally sensitive regions in the country. Great efforts are made to not disturb and/or damage the environment. The region hardly suffers financially for its commitment. In fact, its one of the most prosperous regions in the country. ted
