Well, we do agree on this.
(I am not a fan of affirmative action, but it's definitely NOT because I think minorities are inferior.)
We also agree about not calling other people all the names you mentioned. In fact, for civilized people, those names shouldn't even come up even in thoughts.

I think that we should be discussing WHY kids are not learning, NOT staying in school, and HOW we, and THEY can do better.
I'm not sure the straw men you set up are even in the picture. Race, sex, etc shouldn't be a factor in education. Kids coming from most of the Asian countries to the US are by-in-large exceeding very well in their studies. The Boys of Sudan who have come to this area have done well in their studies.
So why are some kids, all across the country, just opting out? |
