M. you and I are alike, but it wasnt always that way. When I first got married there was a huge earnings discrepancy between my wife and I. We had seperate accounts but her name was on everyone of our credit cards, in fact she had far more then did I. So, since she didnt earn enough to pay off her charges I paid them off. Since she wasnt spending HER MONEY she had a grand ole time charging!! I thought to myself, well, she's gonna spend the money anyhow, might as well have joint accounts. Well, once HER name was on the checking I SEA CHANGE OCCURRED. Now it was HER MONEY she was spending and man did her habits change. She became MORE FRUGAL then myself. I got a good laugh out of that, all I could think of (which of course I didnt say) was a squirrel tucking away the acorns for the winter. haha. jdn
