I think it takes two people who generally think alike when it comes to money. We are both very frugal and think ahead. Whenever we borrow, we make a big issue out of paying off our debt asap. We both want a secure retirement and understand the value of saving. I know it isn't true for everyone, and I don't know where those attributes came from, but they work for us. Money is a very important element of our existence.
