Raymond, your sources are incredible in their own bias. You know where I do most of my own reading on the Middle East? From translations of the Arab newspapers, some of which are Arab propaganda machines. The Arabs say it best themselves. Their thinking on Israel is hopelessly clouded by their hatred of Jews. Now, I'm not excusing Israeli brutality towards Palestinians, but I certainly understand it. If someone killed my children and wife, I might do very unspeakable things to that person and I can assure you it would not be a quick death that I inflict. So when I see Israeli brutality, I don't like it, but I can understand how they got to where they are. On the other hand, Palestinians can make the same claims. So my point again is that both sides are equally to blame.

To try to take one side or the other is in itself a biased action. The best thing to do is what Clinton did, which is to say both sides are at fault, how do we move forward? That is what is happening now. Abbas is being the leader that no one else has had the balls to be. That is why progress is being made. What amazes me is that Sharon is playing ball. I thought he would be more hard core, but Sharon wants peace as well.

BTW, I know a little about the Mossad. I used to love to read about Israeli history when I was younger. So I have a good bit of fact and fictional knowledge of the Mossad to draw from. If I remember correctly, their motto was something about deceiving, dividing, and conquering. But then again, what clandestine outfit doesn't have that motto? Intelligence is about deception.
