tejek,

Re: I firmly believe that Pat Buchanan is right when he says that 9/11 happened because of our past intervention in the ME.

I've obsessively studied the 9/11 tragedy and the fraud called the Kean-Zelikow Commission (and Report) and I've come to the unequivocal conclusion that the Arabs who were nearly instantly identified as the perpetrators were, in fact, no more than patsies for a much more sinister plot executed by rogue elements of the U.S. government and corporate elites. Mike Ruppert, the author of the exhaustively researched "Crossing the Rubicon" states flatly that V.P. Richard Cheney is the principal architect of the 9/11 "false flag" operation. And his proof is in keeping with much of my own research into the matter.

I would encourage all readers here to pay some attention to this matter. The best and most time-saving way to initiate oneself to the controversy is to become familiar with the website 9/11 Truth:
911truth.org

In particular, for "newbies", I recommend these two pages:

"The Top 15 reasons to doubt the 9/11 official story"
911truth.org

"Navigation for 9/11 Newbies"
911truth.org

Re: There will be a reckoning for all this misbehavior.

Actually, the lesson from the assassination of John F. Kennedy through the 9/11 false flag operation and on to the fraudulent justifications for the illegal aggression against Iraq is that the elites appear to be capable of getting away with the most horrendously anti-democratic and immoral acts imaginable. The sheep-like quality of the docile American public has been noted with disdain, despair and depressing regularity by any number of observers.
