"You are clearly drawing a connection between what you suppose was ignorance of hygiene with religious beliefs"

I was clearing DEMONSTRATING that belief in demon theories of mental illness are not out of place in a society/culture where ignorance is the norm. I think my point was proven when you avoided answering the direct question put to you as to where you (as a modern person) would take a loved one who was sick--to a witch doctor from an ignorant and superstitious tribal society, or to a hospital of modern scientific medicine.

It has nothing to do with Clinton: that is mindless dribble on your part.

You either believe that "Jesus" WAS ignorant in his belief that demons lived inside people who experienced mental/emotional illnesses...or you believe he was NOT ignorant in His belief. So if a loved one was experiencing mental/emotional problems would you take him/her to someone who believed as Jesus did? You do know what you believe, don't you?
