True the man was only 19 when he died, but he was already a pilot for the US Air Force in WWII.

I use to fly for American and lived with a couple of other flight attendants. We kept his poem on our refrigerator.

Pres. Reagan read John Gillespie Magee, Jr.s poem after tragedy struck the Challenger.
