My wife and I have a terrific financial arrangement. She makes all the little decisions like which house we are going to live in, which furniture and appliances we need, what clothes to buy, etc. I get to make all the big decisions like how to pay for all of it. The two things we have always agreed on is to save and invest a bit from every paycheck and pay cash for anything that depreciates. Recently, I told her we probably don't need to continue to save. She gave me a look that ended that discussion cold. :o)
