Peter, I really doubt this chart has much value. For one, I too got an almost exact match with Kerry, even though I voted for Bush. Then, forcing you to choose between four idiotic answers, without "none of the above" or "don't care" or "don't have strong feelings one way or another" just magnifies the error greatly. Also, I consider myself, on balance, more to the right than where the chart placed me, and on balance, either on zero or slightly on libertarian side. But that quadrant is basically empty, which shows a problem with how the questions and potential answers were constructed. Another thing is that there are various "spheres" of life, where a person may be very authoritarian on certain issues and very libertarian on others. Blending all may show a person to be in the middle, while he is a composition of 2 extremes. Joe
