Jezer's column would carry a lot more weight if it wasn't such an egregious example of selective amnesia and misrepresentation. Oliver Stone has been the bete noir of a certain class of "conspiracy debunkers". Jezer seems to be a favorite of Nation Magazine Associate Max Holland, a staunch supporter of the Warren Commission's discredited report. While Jezer correctly states that Lee Oswald was personally associated with David Ferrie, for unknown reasons their connection to Clay Shaw is simply not mentioned. This is quite curious, from a progressive leaning publication like Common Dreams, because it utterly disregards recently released information linking both Oswald and Shaw to the C.I.A. Jezer seems to be thinking he's extremely clever to lay out red herrings on the JFK assassin trail by talking about LBJ or the Cuban mafia. Too clever by half. Since the cat is already out of the bag about the C.I.A.'s involvement here. The same twisted logic seems to be being applied by Jezer to the 9/11 investigation. Jezer is simply too clever by half.
