Milwaukee Election Commission Executive Director Resigns

Blogs for Bush

We've been following the voting irregularities in Wisconsin that have been revealed following the election. Now, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports:

<<<

Under a blitz of criticism over the city's handling of the Nov. 2 presidential election, Lisa Artison resigned Tuesday as executive director of the Milwaukee Election Commission after four weeks off the job on sick time.
>>>

Is anyone 100% confident that John Kerry truly won the state now? I can tell you I'm not. If the irregularities didn't put the results in doubt would the elections director have resigned?

But hey, don't take my word for it, you can always ask Barbara Boxer...

UPDATE: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's coverage of the voter irregularities. (see below)
