DAK, Dow Jones had a story on today about a hedge fund that had 25% of their assets in Biogen and 10% in Elan. Now THAT's a bet. <G> I had a long meeting yesterday with some seniors who have set up a large charity trust. They want us to goose up the performance, which has been just o.k. due to the restrictions. Our lawyer nearly had a cardiac arrest and explained how the trust dept. would then be liable, etc., etc. Shoot, he doesn't even like what I've done to it already (some intl. and resource funds to offset the big domestic growth and income portion). But he's right. You don't want the IRS and the SEC knocking on your door with warrants at the same time.
