You have to remember that the engineers from the Big 3 have all been to visit ESWW at different points in time. The eCAT costs less than current production catalytic converters by a considerable amount. The the auto makers will pay engineers to work all year just to take $0.01 out of the cost of something like a windsheild wiper component or system. Hence, when the first announcement that the "...2006+/- Ford Focus, Geo Metro or Neon GTX-3000LS will be equipped with the new ESWW catalytic converter.." - kaaaaaaaaaaBOOOOOM....!!! And, it's eventually going to happen. If it's just as good or better, ...cheaper, ...and has the EPA/CARB/DNR blessings - Detroit will buy the holy living schmidt out of it..... :-) .
