btw, visiting The Strand cost me 162.94 last night It's ok. You are among friends. We understand. I am sitting on a Barnes and Noble gift certificate that was part of my birthday present from Dan. I love looking at it. It's like an addict knowing he has a bag - um- a stash? A pill? in the- um- well, never mind. that was a bad analogy since I don't know enough drug terms. I just looked online to see if there were bookstore tours or whether we really are just weird, and found this... bookstoretourism.com This was funny- Typically, about half of the participants are middle-aged women well, hmmph. Middle-aged women are one of this country's greatest resources and strengths, imo. Not that you are quite middle-aged yet, of course. Late adolescence, maybe. I speak for myself. I intend to be middle-aged for at least another twenty years.
