At any rate, JDN and the White House's statement that African Americans on average stand to get less of Social Security's old age pension than the typical white (male or female) is correct.

The 'income effect' sounds reasonable, except for the fact that Hispanics and Asians (in the USA) live longer than whites.

The 'blue collar/white collar' argument has been used to argue against increasing the age of retirement.
